Such an appealing neck
that still bears the faint graze
of a designer label,
fast removed.
The blood-red glow of your shoulders
is tantalising in candlelight;
scent of wax and wine
makes the air around us heavy
with full-bodied aroma.
Softly I finger the delicate frosting,
watch your surface mist again
as I breathe softly close.
I tilt you towards me,
let you fill my loving cup,
swirl your liquid playfully in my mouth
before swallowing your heat whole,
your tingling fire in my veins.
What a vintage you are,
so special:
like I trod your grapes
beneath my feet
and squeezed your juice
between my fingers
personally.
An evening a deux:
just me and
le Chateauneuf du Pape.
Ooh, I'm going to get me a bottle of some of that!!!

"watch your surface mist again..." It does, doesn't it, Kharismatic Kate, me sweet! What's this about 'modicum of decency?' I'll have you know that in polite society (which I've never actually rubbed elbows with..BORING!) they look upon 'surface mist' as a good deoderant, and 'decency' as using cloth napkins. Jaysus, are you going to write about underarms and linen lap liners? You know what, my little petunia? If anyone could, you could!

I love all wines but I haven't tasted any in over 25 years except for a glass of champagne at my Grand daughters weddings. Wine can be as sensual as your write.
