A very insightful poem about the future of elections and Supreme Court adjudications in the United States. I believe you were spot on the way things are going. Unfortunately, as carefully as the founding fathers created a government that would have checks and balances, progress is very slow in coming and some of our problems are moving much faster than our ability to deal with them with our two-party system stonewalling rather than cooperating.
The frightful thing is that our Supreme Court is now stacked for at least 30 years to come with ultraconservative views that do not relate to the people in need, literally interpreting the flawed document that our original Constitution was rather than amending it.
