The Last Dance

I will wait for the last dance with you. Will be a magical day.

When good ole country boys and gals kick it
time stops and life becomes meshed with
each other as the music plays “Sweet Home Alabama”
I look for you, but your eyes are not there. Another
fills my vision of you and I wonder where you are.
I want the last dance with you as I look into her eyes.
She is not you and I want her to be. Play on band sweet
country music and rock the night away. I want my baby and no one else. I want you to rock and grind my night. That’s right grind me down there, rock my world. Smile as the lights glow in your blonde hair. I miss you deeply as life grabs my feet and the music plays. Shaking my ass bumping and grinding I see you, but you’re far away.  Loud is the music and without you shaking your money maker the night is just another night.
Your eyes are my rapture and forever I have been captured by them.  I miss you tonight my love as the last dance plays.
Sweet, soft music plays as lovers and friends grasp the night for just themselves.  I miss you tonight as I can’t see your face as I hold her tight. I know one day my Destiny awaits the last dance as she holds me tight.  Grinding hard against me you knows my smile
as it looks deep into the night. She gives me all I ever wanted and my life is content. She gives to me, just me.  All I can offer her is my hand out stretched and willing to walk this life with her.
The last dance plays and lovers gather. Where are you my baby? No, you are not her, as a tear fills my eye. My baby is dreaming of me as I dance with you.  I am alone without you.  I dance with your memories
of love that you have given me and I shall never forget.

Dancing creates many stories to be told, and you've certainly penned a good one here. I enjoyed "The Last Dance", although I hope its only the last one with one particular person.
