Photographs are wonderful tools, especially when we use them to brighten our memories. But when it comes to loved ones, the photograph in the heart is the most endearing of all.
It's so sad when we gaze upon the photograph of a loved one no longer with us. For how does one contain unbearable pain?
"And ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." Khalil Gibran, 1924.
He said it well. And nothing's changed.
But you've captured the essence, Sharon. We kiss the photograph as we cherish the memory in our heart.
