Multi-Tasker

We’ve come along way since the days
Where you could hold me in those hands
The hero of my upward gaze
Provider to all my demands
Creator of the face I see
Smiling in reflective glass
Donor of selfless sympathy
And textbook teacher of class
A farmer who with care did raise
A crop of daughter and of son
Who owe their life and words of praise
To a father and a friend in one
I look these days upon a man
I share his heart and shake those hands
