Aglow There’s sorrow in my heart, and I’m down and feeling blue I try so hard to figure out, I’m searching for a clue, the more I try the more I hurt, I’m drifting far from you with loneliness and sadness I’ve plunged into a hue.   I try to leave it all behind, and set my mind alight, the fear that then grips me, is like a shadowed night, caped in consummate blackness, it stealthily moves and sighs it leaves me feeling frightened, then vanishes from sight.   I know I must approach you, and talk to you and see find out how you’re feeling, or is it only me? In my heart I love you, yet I feel no glee this vacuum that I’m now in, I know wont set me free.   Those tender words and moments, God I miss them so, my heart is crying, crying out: the emptiness to show, can we light the fire now, will our love then grow all we need is tenderness, to set our hearts aglow.   E.Bretton Copyright 2004
