This was written for a very Special friend, who is going through a very rough time health wise.

Harbinger

A weight upon my heart is placed; I did not wish it there !

Tears brimmed up and freely flowed like a streaming watercourse

Sadness, pain and bitterness, how could this be happening now ?

I question but the tears flow still, this heartache that I now feel.

Volcanic feelings erupt within and leave me in despair

Why should it be, why did it raise its heinous vengeful mind,

Distress and I'm so sullen, I feel the anger surge,

Numb with shock and stunned with grief I toss as if in a hurricane,

My body from my souls’ detached my mind’s about to burst.

Could I believe that this is real, an onslaught army of evil words,

This is not the first, but twice before, I’ve seen the bitter feud.

Contempt I feel for the malefic side, you can’t reach in and talk.

It hangs in there and strips you bare, but a stronger soul you have.

Stand tall, stand firm and give it grief don’t let it knock you down

You may stumble and sometimes crawl, but NEVER will you fall.
