Haunted, Faceless !

How sad the feelings that sit within, with so much longing to speak again, knowing well I’m reined and tethered, understanding my time has weathered. Sadness flows throughout my being. Tears I shut and can’t allow, teary eyes still want to cry. Faceless love of yesterday to mind you step, to jest and play haunting crevices, minds’ recesses, picking, taking moments wanted; eyes reflecting a wounded heart, mirrored in this soul that you don’t want. I handed you what I thought you wanted, you took complete and then abandoned, left me broken, a wingless bird, all cried out and immensely hurt. Though I’ve tried to understand, all the reasons all the plans, yet the mind escapes me so still I fear I cant let go ! A cry from my soul to touch your heart, don’t leave me, don’t tear me apart, if you feel an ounce of pain, call me; and we’ll meet again, across the shadows as before, reach out, touch me, through the spiritual door. For I feel an immeasurable power even through our darkest hour.! Twas not me that your heart did seek, all the while your fancy feat lured me in, and took me places, But now –
just haunted, faceless !
