Seek to Find

Cast your eyes where earth and ocean greet

the vision then, a merge,

Seek to find the line

defining sea and sky,

serenity lays that far,

closer in, rolls to shore

closer now, you feel the roar

tumultuous waves -

spew forth foamy crests,

and then a gap you see -

upward yonder azure skies

indigo blue ocean under.

hesitantly the sun peeks through -

trying now to greet a dawn.

sunlight orb begins to swell

golden rays flare the skies,

clouds insufficient, to mask the hue.

While some in splendour rise.

others yet in moonlight lay,

a vigil eye on them is kept !
