My Illusive lover
Is it pleasure is it pain, that infiltrates the brain Is it love or is it lust, or can we just trust Ripped me up, and stripped me bare, Left me vulnerable beyond compare. Sadness like white rafting speeds, Floods my mind on which it feeds. Pain and torture sears through me, You only want what you never see.
From the red ruby goblet, I slowly sipped passion, And surrendered my heart in a different fashion. Taken by your sweetness and words that lured, I trusted infinitely and never procured. Within my aura fears float tauntingly through, Daring my conscious, to step into the realm of truth. I step outside myself, gaze deep into my soul, And look at what I freely gave, without control.
The pain I touch within my soul, Is one that I not wish, to hold. My eyes that feel the painful urge, My heart that lies beyond the verge. My senses which have been restrained, With desire so strong to numb the pain.
Unlock your heart and let me in. Let me show you only passionate sin. Trust my words, time may you take - please don't push me into a different fate I would never hurt a fragile heart – When mine is also, a seated part.
Our heads in dizziness shall swim, Our hearts as one shall pound and win. Enveloped in such sweet desire, Within a floating magic spire. Let's touch and dream of feelings strong, Powerful, be not afraid hear my song.
Come to me, ensconce in my love; stay, I'll brush all your hurts and fears away. Dive inside my body, soul and heart. Care and affection will be the start. Let's lose ourselves within each other, And fear no more my illusive lover!

Deeply romantic, lovelorns hopes...
This is so well-written. It speaks to so many - both men and women. I like this a lot.
