My sincere apologies.
For some "Enigmatic" reason, the edit facility was feeling "Moody" ~~*Warm hugs - Elga~~*

Mood Enigma

Oh babbling fountain full of love
Spilling over with sheer contentment
Great passion and emotional power,
Guide my spiritual energy,
Keep it channeled, and keep it strong.

Could I lose my focus now?
Down pathways new and strange,
For you’re not there to guide me
Your failure to console me
In times when it’s needed most.

Do you fear you’d make me bitter?
Do you fear that I’ll resent you?

Answer Broken Sparrow,
Don’t hide in the recesses of darkness
Console now, Mood Enigma,
And let her see the light of love and life
Show her the path to illumination.

Is loneliness the feeling that you have?
Are your emotions that of a lost and angry child
Left to roam solitary in this darkness
Does this scare and frighten you ?
Those fears are but inside your own mind

Do you fear you’d make me bitter?
Do you fear that I’ll resent you?

Whose value systems have lost integrity?
Whose subjectivity reigns supreme?
Do we both flounder in the darkness
For purpose and stability
Broken Sparrow is it you, for it’s not Mood Enigma

Are your wings too far clipped?
Are your fears too ingrained?
Is the truth that the icon in the mist
Is truly more than just a pale reflection
Of both our own desires.

Do you fear you’d make me bitter?
Do you fear that I’ll resent you?

Elga...this is a deeply spiritual, soul moving write...it is often difficult to find the reasons why ones behavior seems distant or hidden...your poem shows me that there are a number of reasons for this...your poem is very endearing and well done...Fletcher B

A "moody" poem, but one with soul, from a poet with the heart of many soulful poets...quite nice, Elga...Peace, Ed & rufuz

A lovely re-assurance of love. What was spoken was soft like a whisper; but what was unspoken were loud and delivered a lovely message to the readers.

Wonderful poetry Elga!
