 When in time ….

Seconds flow into minutes,
minutes tick into hours,
hours glide into days,
days dim into sunsets,
sunsets glow into sunrises,
sunrises ease into seconds.

Pregnant silence fills the dark,
Songbirds sing the morning light
Do I really ever know,
when in time I lost my heart.
Confused, I seek to find,
the moment in time,
I’d left it in.

Seeking every corner,
every trail,
traveling every mountain
every vale,
coursing through rivers of my mind,
traversing oceans of my soul.

On I go, further still,
encountering planes new to me.
Catching glimpses here and there,
whilst traveling on a cosmic breeze.

Was it in the bewitching hour?
or the midday changing winds?
that the seconds flowed into minutes,
Oh elusive heart of mine !

I see two poems in this, two distinctly different themes.
One with time, the other soul searching--yet both intertwine.

"When in time..." A flower of the philosophical garden of the poet's heart, scenting the searching minds with questions of the Soul.

A masterpiece poetized in Free Verse to make poetic history.
