Caught in a slipstream..

Caught in a slipstream of echoed pain,
Gushing through my emotional barrier,
Leaving me gasping and so breathless,
Feeling chilled right to the core.

At the apex of this apprehension,
Appear precursor wistful memories,
In forgotten hallways of my mind,
The darkened passages undefined.

Solitary place behind closed doors,
I seek refuge to recompose,
Sit huddled within myself,
Terrified I’d loose control.

I peer through stained glass leaded windows,
Through misted mirrors of my soul,
There, in the muted distance,
I see the faceless shadow of my love.

This is a wonderful piece. I enjoyed it very much.
Although your work looks beautiful, the font is very hard to read, at least for me. I had to read over it several times.
If it's my eyes, I apoligize.
Nice work.

Love, Bonnie

the features of love come in disguise ...

the imagery of this poem is alive with emotion and beauty ... you are in search for that elusive resemblance ...
