Music Notes as you played me
Music notes as you played me,
float into the azure sea.
Gliding like a soaring kite
on the wing of a gentle breeze.
Bobbing along the waves rising crest,
Frolicking like water nymphs.
With a wisp of the wind here and there,
they know, their fate's near end.
Tossing about now, inside out.
Weeping ink will soon flow through.
The pages now begin to smudge;
becoming a fuzzy hue.
Glowing moon radiating her silvery glow,
upon the watery surface,
There between the glistening light,
the music notes immersed in.
Riding the waves on the now gentle sea,
floating the darkened abyss;
wending and weaving the magical notes,
can they make it across this mist?
Reaching the shores of far distant lands,
perhaps to be loved, and not perish ,
you can only hope for the one true love,
to find, hold them within, and cherish!
