Dreams

All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849)

 Sanctum of your Temple

Take my hand and lead me,
to the sanctum of your temple.
Shower me with pleasures,
I know you'll be gentle.

Warm lips, sensual moments
into heavens reverie,
Turned the blue into golden,
warming this soul within me

So delicate your touch,
a heart races and beats.
Strumming gently the cords,
let the prelude us greet.

Stormy sea of passion,
we tentatively cross,
watching the hour,
but soon we are lost.

Wet, wild and wonderous,
we immerse a shimmering glow,
twinkling like starlight,
in heavens above and earth below.

Passion flows the cadence,
Words linger on lips,
exotic nectar flowing,
Our senses now tipped!

Almost can't bring myself to make an entry above Thomas as I kinda feel you two should stand together in the frisson of this moment - metaphorically speaking...!!! My goodness, you two certainly do speak the same love language and I can hardly bring myself to complete the reading, it's so HOT!! Not just the delicacy of your expression and the stirring visual, but you have hand-picked just the right sensual words to season and pepper this aphrodisiac write! Easy does it, Elga! Killing me softly here! TY Kate xx
