 Moon Mist

You came to me
vaguely unnoticed
silently
thru a  white moon mist
I long to reach out
and
touch you
but I know
it would be futile
for you are
nothing more
than a mere
Fata Morgana !

Elga, once again I find myself struggling to find the right words to express myself without sounding like a babbling old fool …lol. I never thought I’d hear those words at this stage in my life, but unfortunately I have …lol. I can only hope in a few more years, I can start muttering and walk around outside in my jammies and really scare away the neighbors and little children that think I’m off my rocker now …lol. Anyway my gifted and valued friend, getting back to this magnificent creation, I am truly honored to be able to read and review these stunningly well prepared timeless treasures you offer the world and us. Although the longing is evident, I personally believe (now mind you, I am of my rocker …lol) one should never stop trying to climb over every mountain or walk through every valley until they find the true harmony all human beings desire and need. After all, without being able to share love, hope and kindness, we no longer can be considered amongst the human race or make our Creator proud of us. It is so unfortunate that life has way too many ups and downs laced throughout it, yet in order to find tranquility and remain a gleam in His eyes we must not waver. An exceptional write my friend. Thank you for sharing it. I must leave NOW those guys in the white coats are pulling in the driveway …lol. I guess you kinda figured by now I really like this poetic masterpiece. I gotta run, here they come. See you soon …lol. Take care and be well. Have an easy day.

one can sense your sense of longing is very real and no mirage ... you've expressed that quite effectively ... a sad but very meaningful poem ...
