My Prayer

My Prayer

Heavenly Father hear my pleas,
Bring him safely home to me,
In my heart, mind and soul,
Let again my life be whole.

Away from others who may want him
Deliver him, from lust and sin
Send him here next to me,
This is my heartfealt longing plea.

With all this beauty from above,
I'll accept this wondrous love,
With arms outstreched and open wide,
I'll have him here, right by my side.

But if he ever thought to go,
remember then, I should know,
All the love and pleasures shared,
He'd understand I'd always cared.

Heavenly Father this is my prayer
With these words, my soul I bare
Let him know and understand
that I'd forever, hold his hand.
