Hi All,

I left a message in my poetry section the other day, saying I am departing, although it will not be permanent. I may be erratic with my postings and comments/reviews until I leave (so please forgive me).

I am planning to be away in Europe, for 3-4 weeks, somewhere from the end of October, begining of November.

I will miss all my friends here in the Den, the place I call my 2nd home.

Lots of warm hugs and love to all
God Bless and take care
Elga :)

  Passions' Door

A choir of Angels I thought I heard,
on a soft silver breeze it was transferred,
In cosmic beauty I saw up high,
tenuous Angelic wings gracefully fly.

Saw the hundreds float and dance,
surrounding us within a trance,
Lost in heavens of sheer delight,
in this sanctum of pure white light.

I felt emotions like never before,
urging me gently through passions door,
You took me onto a higher realm
where you were master at the helm.

Your words that tantalised and pledged,
kept the passion on a razors edge,
Then you slowly fed my soul
all your power, so in control.

I gave in willingly to all your charms,
my golden heart within your arms,
You stoked and fuelled me like a fire,
which swayed and burned, and did aspire.

You have me always, day and night,
thoughts of leaving don't feel right,
What heavenly power do you possess ?
I've lost my heart, I do confess !

Smoothly cadenced, lovingly rhymed and potent in its breathing love's passion, Elga/Indigo!! I envy you your trip to Europe, have great fun and I will be eager to see how your poetry will be inspired by the sights you will absorb. :)

Okay Elga, now you went and did it! I’ll just have to cut off my ear… lol! Only kidding my precious friend. This striking illuminating piece is breathtaking in both content and its absolute beautiful presentation. Your natural poetic capability to provide inspirational bliss and stir ones deepest emotions, is a shining testament to your remarkable poetic talent! You will be sorely missed and thought of while you’re dancing throughout Europe. But, in the meantime, I shall look forward to reading your wonderful work, until you depart on your journey of jubilation. Before I drift away and lose my train of thought, which happens very easily… lol, what does this mean, “Ali, mere dard ko mitao, tum mere meet ho?” Thank you for sharing your work. Take care and be well.

Mercy me! Sounds like Robbie Williams' "Angel" - perhaps you don't know our contemporary crooner in the States. Sounds the ideal lover, Elga, and one perhaps that you can actually TRUST with your precious heart! Don't think it's gone far, though... can hear the steady sounds of it's strong beats somewhere close by. A beautiful lyricism here and just wonderful poetic rhythm and rhyme. Enjoy Europe... is England on your itinerary by any chance?! LOL Kate xx
