Happiness within,
We feel the sweet warm embrace,
uttered quietly, with our loving words.
Happiness radiating, feelings profound,
our heart's aflutter with loving thoughts.
Concealed mirrors within your soul,
that every now and then,
catch a glint, of sweet soft glowing sunshine,
which then reflects the tender mood.
of the heart that so wants to love.
Emotions so desirous,
often finding ourselves,
lost within each others thoughts,
reaching out and touching,
silently whispered passionate intentions,
that are felt so deep within.
Evoking the appetency,
of our sensuous caresses,
with a breath of fragrant delicacy,
and fragility of the orchid flower,
that we so lovingly hold in affection.

I must agree with most of the comments here, Elga, especially the
one from Ace. And add my own: Splendiforous!!! You are a potent
penner of emotions.
Elga where have you been? Or am I not logged on long enough to see your postings? Oh well, I'm here now and it's great to "see" you. This poem reminds me of how I felt about my ex-girlfriend when we started dating. It was the first real relationship for the both of us and boy did we sip from the flooded cup.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
