Recluse Of Love

across the great divide,
he reaches out
attentively takes her hand
drawing her close
within his heart
holding her tenderly
feeling the warmth of her desiring body
arousing feelings within himself,
he thought he'd lost,
forgotten in a moment in time
somewhere in the past
insatiably,
his urges sennet him
and a drum roll to his heart
thundering within,
pumping music into his mind
the passionate tunes reverberating
that he so soundly missed,
but, no more can he resist
the vast amount of love,
that exudes
and wraps around his soul,
with the vigour of the universe
encompassing
this captured recluse of love.
