RENDEZVOUS
In the stillness of the silent surly night, you tiptoe the innermost recesses of my mind, As I lay lonesome in expectant animation, I reach out, as ever, and whisper your name, You turn, with charm and grace known to few, And call my name in your soft honeyed tone, You smile, in your own winsome way, And in hallways, where it was dismally dark before, Where shadows had played in unbroken silence, On golden tapestries, glows now a vision, Reflection of two hearts beating unmistakable as one.
“Ali, Mere hamsafar, Mujhe tumse pyar hai bahut Sanam. Mere dard ko mitao, tum mere meet ho, Elga”
