In Silence We Dream
In silence we dream Wading through the rivers of our minds Swimming the oceans vast Searching, looking Elusive are shadows of our thoughts Often dipping behind the mountains of our dreams At times so stealthily they encroach As we catch but glimpses Through masked nights When they walk the tightrope of the stars Into the cosmos Calling out In silent thoughts Yet they are heard Through our streams of consciousness Arms reach out Feel the touch So vibrant so near Heartbeats pounding Reverberating within Fires we both know Insatiable passion Reaching into our raging desires.

"mountains of dreams" , "masked nights".... Dear Elga, there is no doubt that your poems are very powerful. The theme, the rhymes, the metaphors and above all the feeling they leave on the reader.... I also enjoyed reading the Urdu lines at the bottom. Do you write in Urdu also.

This is an awesome write, Elga. The dream so often becomes the true reality of our lives. We are bonded to our "One" and will feel the call to them always, though sometimes they appear only in our dreams.

Damn! Reaching out and shoving aside the haziness of the cloudy dreamscape and pulling it closer to take a much better look. And the look seen is shared with us, giving the reader a vision of such exquisite, sexual precision that it is hurtful to dwell there very long. Outta sight!
