Holding back the years,
Thinking of the fear Ive had for so long.
When somebody hears,
Listen to the fear thats gone.
Strangled by the wishes of pater,
Hoping for the arm of mater,
Get to me sooner or later, "........

Simply Red

......................................................................

I want to share my love with the world

in whichever and whatever way I can

to reach out and touch another's heart

in that very special and remarkable way

I would walk a million miles

just to make you smile and content

enthusing over all the little things

that mean so much to you and me

and communication is never a problem

when there's soul connection deep

for when two hearts are beating in unison

the distance between is reduced at a stroke

and I recall my mother telling me

son, let your goodness shine for all to see

don't hide your lamp under the table

as you have so many varied gifts to offer

just reach out to every side

and accept them for what they are

there are so many people suffering

who have never seen the light

do what you can to heal them

and the angels will do the rest

believe in yourself completely

and always walk the honest road

and look the world straight in the eye

and don't look for anything in return

for true love is a most magnificent thing

that opens each and every door

What a wonderful feeling it must be to have your latest hot off the presses. My personal congratulations, Peter...finally. travel has kept me from your poetry too long, but what a delight to return to find so many good things to read and take me away. You are a man of so many gifts and you share them with joy...evident always in your words and the doors you open with them. Love is obviously a magnificent motivator.Communication, be it in words or "souls' connection" is the key.
Love, Taylor

The Lord gave us a new commandment "Love one another as I have loved you" Mother Theresa has written books on how important love is and how we can share it with each other and those less fortunate. I for one have found this at times to me most difficult but we must push on and pray for the strength to overcome our weaknesses. Good one Peter.

Where is love? It's become a cliche' for most. So very rare, we reject it when it finds us for lack of trust. We still have a long way to go before it is fully realized. But then, it's only been two thousands years since the concept was made manifest. I'm very sad today, Peter. This is a lovely write, but all the words in the world won't change us...

thank you angel.. There is so much profound wisdom here. Thank you so much for this powerful write of the heart. It is drawing people everywhere who are deeply looking for life’s answers. Yes the gifts of the Holy Spirit are so deeply evident in your life and journey. I always look for the evidence of the fruit of spirit, knowing how to see them and help them. You know a person by their fruits and the ones we must help we pray for deliverance out of every form of bondage on their life. Your spirit has emerged into grace, healing, love, roots all of the fruits. We must continue our world efforts to pray for the lost and celebrate together the greatness we truly, truly are. Forgiveness and an olive branch go hand in hand, breaking all yokes of strangle holds. Peter, you are light and your presents encourages others to look at that light and see it for what it is and draw, DRAW to that glorious light for salvation and redemption!!!!.. WE bring to humanity peace and love.. Powerful reflection of the fruit in your life. May we continue on with the light and show humanity there are the answers if they only look at the ray of gloriously burning within.. Thank you once again Peter for being that olive branch once again..

All right! Simply Red. Used to really like the guy in those first few years when he was singing Simply Red stuff, but cooled on him when he decided to join the "cool" dudes and their style of singing. Shame.

I hope somewhere Eileen is reading this, because you and her are on the asame page about saving the world through love. I wish that could happen, but I know, in my heart, that we humans are much too selfish to make that transition.
