If nature didn’t call
We wouldn’t be here at all!
No Mother’s womb from which to emerge
No open eyes, & living lives….

Not any first steps from a crawl
No smiling, sighing, and loving more
We wouldn’t learn how to talk
No need for words, or feelings to express.

Indeed no tears, no fears, no crying at all!

That may sound appealing, but …

If nature didn’t call
We wouldn’t be able to
share the loving touch of another
Or a smile with our brother,
We would have nothing to give,
No lessons of life to learn and live!

The birds, the trees, the sun, and moon
They are nature too,
Our link
Responding to nature’s call
As we do … no less, no more

When nature calls
She doesn’t say -
where is yesterday, tomorrow, or today?

She just IS
As is our life
Shining and singing
Nature is NOW,
Nature is NOW

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani
