This is a beautiful expression of the reality of deep feelings that belittle the seeming greatness or inconsequentialities of our day-to-day life. You have painted a very vivid picture here of the true:false veracities. For those involved in media lifestyles, I guess the discernment of reality is even more difficult than for those of us who just merely inhabit landscapes of the mind. This is all fascinating, but what is heartwarming here is that, irrespective of the fabric of the ways in which we live our lives, the feelings that rock us to out uttermost are simple and profoundly experienced and expressed. There is an image I can understand. We look at, and wish for, the glory of magic and when real life shoves its way inside our door, we still have mnagic to cling to. Did THAT make ANY sense? Jeez. Well, anyway, I liked this poem.
