I just want to thank all those of you who sent get well messages I am not fully recovered but I am starting to feel a little better.

Through fevered dreams the horsemen ride

Across the veil of night

Thundered hoofs match pounding heart

Shiver helplessly in fright

I hear my name above the din

See their skeletal faceless grins

As they lead an extra dark horse

I beg forgiveness of my sins

An icy cold next grips my soul

I feel not the horsemens fetid snort

In dark I shiver now in chills

The horsemens ride somehow abort

Now tis ice grasp upon my brow

Perhaps its Neptunes turn to try

God in heaven end this game

In desperation I do cry

I drift again and shift change more

To a scaffolds hanging tree

The executioner laughing taunts

As he points his finger right at me

I see the world and all I’ve known

In the images flashing past

I pray again please make it end

I don’t want this to last

Then morning light bids me awake

Soaked but no longer in fevers grip

I shake the night fears from my mind

I hear the intravenous drip

Now some may say twas the sickness

Others the medicines prescribed

I think it was the messengers’ choice

To warn me as described.

this was right on target....

the ending sums it all up truthfully in my opinion
they tell me it's the sickness all the time.... I do not believe such to be true

Fever has this way of crafting shapes of anguish and breathing a spirit of ending into them, but then... when it subsides, so does the anguish, and the spirit of refreshed beginnings comes alive, within renewed shapes of creativity. Like a phoenix rising from its own ashes. I can already perceive this Phoenix rising within Felix... **smile**
With wishes that you will soar very soon,
Love&Light*

I'm sorry Felix, I didn't know you were ill. I am in Shawano, Wisconsin, at my second oldest step-daughter's house, and cannot get to a computer as often as I would like. I am happy tho, that you are recovering, and that we do dream some very weird dreams when we have a fever. Keeping you in my prayers bro, I hope you recover fully soon. May the Lord Jesus bless you and yours, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Fever dreams sure to take some disturbing twists and turns, Felix. They are far from my favorite things, but they can be rather funny at a later date when we recall them and try to put them into some kind of logical perspective. I am glad you are feeling at least a little bit better.
Take care,
Sherry
