Shhhhhh...do you hear the blackness?

In the eye of the storm

At the bottom lies the worm

Fore the eve of destruction

Demons need no instruction

As the four horsemen ride

through Hells gates open wide

Let lose the dogs of war

Let there be peace no more

As Dante once wrote

So shall we all take note

The sage yell the end is near

Armageddon deliver us there

Now I lay me down to sleep

The end is nigh…weep, weep, weep.

Well done, Felix! Powerful and captivating. I especially like your last two lines:

Now I lay me down to sleep
The end is nigh…weep, weep, weep.

This is a deep and dark place to be, Felix. The world is suffering through difficult times, but we must live our life in happiness and love in spite of it all. The world will be here long after we leave and will hopefully have it's day when things are in better order. Our time is very limited and we must choose to be happy beyond our concern.
Take care,
Sherry

I so agree with Tinka. This is a very scary piece brother of mine. But, it needs to be said, and it needs to be felt in the words, that maybe one day people will actually listen to their hearts, instead of some power hungry terroist, bent on ruling the world, and destroying who will not bend to the terroist demands. I thought once, for many years that the beatings, prejudice, and name calling I endured at the hands of those who would refuse to understand, had put me in the middle of an Armeggedon with demons clawing at me, trying to drag me into the Abyss. May the Lord Jesus bless you and yours, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, stubborn to a fault, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

"If I have to be this girl in me, Then I may as well be."
