BRAVO, Poet ! Damn, they act like someone is holding a club over their respective heads, forcing them to read what is offensive to them. Let us write what we wish, and let them read what they like............ pretty simple, yes ? Well said, Poet, well said, indeed !

Aman, Felix!! I have felt the sting of that poison myself. Like Southern said, if I don't like a write, I simply move on. I'm not at that point of perfection where I can stand in judgement of anothers work. I don't have it in my character to demean anyone. We lost LaBelle and other dear ones because of this! Have a great vacation, Felix. Put this all behind you. Thank you for voicing what many of us have felt, and you did it so eloquently! I will miss you, and look forward to your return!

Felix,
I can't count the times this has happened over the last three years I've been here, but, it seems to have subsided for the most part. I hope it stays that way.
If I don't like what one writes, I just keep on going, maybe their next write will be something more of my liking. I keep reading them though, just so I won't miss out on the one I liked.
Go have a great vacation! Rest and relax and come back safely!

an enlightened poet exhibits tolerance ... "poets" who have agendas and special postures of expression are stuck in their own vein of thought ... if they do not care for a poem they can just pass it by ... attack is childish and emphasizes their own shortcomings ... this poem is a much needed statement ...

gosh i loved this, it says what i have often thought.
we are put into files from day one. and there is an invisible instruction book tucked under our arm.
What and what not to do.
What and what not to say
The suitable thing to do
Infact we are told HOW TO FEEL.

I have written many things against censorship,so I appreciate this poem. I always say if you don't like what I read just pass me by, and that should suffice. We are not forced to read others.I don't read what offends me, but no one knows about it for it is everyones right to say what they please, without having to fight about it. Like I said just don't read it. Excellent topic, well written!

Great words, Felix. I have no problem with what others write...well maybe Eddie M. his body functions and such, but it is all meant to be fun so other than a EWWWW...I certainly don't take offense. If a poem is adult in content, or if it has an adult picture, it is a good idea to rate it appropriately and perhaps even warn the reader in the title. If someone opens it anyway and reads it they have no reason to make complaints about the content. Nuff said! Enjoy your vacation, Felix, you will be missed by your family here at the Den.
