As many of you know I do not believe in any organized religions and have gotten myself in trouble a few times because of this, that being said I do believe in God and this is just my way of saying so...
Dear God,
I’m sitting here alone with my thoughts, well I guess not really alone as you are always near. So I was just wondering and hoping that we might have a word or two. I know you are busy lately with all the things going wrong down here on earth so I will try to be brief. As you know I am not a church going type of guy, maybe I just saw too many things wrong in all the organized religions but I won’t get into that right now. I do though still consider myself if not a Christian then a person who strives to do the right thing here on earth and I may not always succeed but I try.
Now I don’t really need to ask you for anything, I guess I am actually writing to thank you for something because I would never want you to think that I am not grateful. You see God, you blessed me with many great things in my life, parents, siblings, a wife, children and career but this last gift you gave me was the most precious and wonderful of all. You allowed me to live long enough to see my daughters grow to be women and my two little grand daughters grow big enough that they cry when I have to go home and leave them. I love them all so much god and I love you for giving me this special gift.
Jaimie Lee and Lily are two special little girls and I think you must have plucked them from the angels wings themselves to make them so sweet even if their mothers do say (and forgive me for mentioning his name) they are little devils sometimes. Yet when I roll over and one or the other of them is laying beside me in peaceful sleep I see you God and all you stand for. I need no book, no formal prayers, no church or nobody else to tell me you are there.
So God from me to you,
Thank you for this most wonderful special gift,
Felix

FRIENDS OF FELIX
....My father is currently in the hospital with heart problems once again. Thank you father, once again for a beautiful poem, we love u and miss you right now! For all of those wishing to send him a note, please email me and i'll pass it on to felix. Wanda Perry-York email at wanda147hotmail.com.
Now He and me are wearing great big smiles as we acknowledge that "Yup, Felix, you got it in one!" A fine tribute not only to the greatness and goodness of God, but to your own wonderful Baby Angels (who are absolutely adorable and just like their Pops!), and to your own attitude of gratitude, which is worth more than all the tart, holier-than-thou, self-righteous and preachy twaddle that God's family can be slated for. Looks like you and me both have reasons to be singing His praises this evening! Sorry to make you sweat, but, as the father and grandfather of girls, guess you're used to it, huh?! You take care of you and your nest of starlets. Bless you and thank you. Kate xx

well done... I wish I was as brave as to say as much in the open
But I too am so blessed and grateful for so many things....
perhaps this may inspire me to open up to Him more
THank you for posting this... Loved the picture XoXo to the little ones of the world
Beautifully written letter of grattitude. You have been abundantly blessed, we all have, and you convey your thoughts perfectly. :) Well done, my friend!
I hope you share this letter with your grandchildren when they are old enough to appreciate it, which may be when you have left this world. They will always know how much grandpa loved them though because you did put it in writing.
Oh how precious! From picture to letter, you'll capture the hearts of all.
Felix, we all have our thoughts on religion, it's just a part of who we are. Take it for what it is, and just be you.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.

Though you might like this quote.
“Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Spirituality is a guy out fishing thinking about God.”
