Season’s Shared

Splashing through puddles, mud pies and rain

Waving at a passing train

Lot’s of laughter and giggles

As spring strolls up the lane

Buttercups and daisies, strawberry afternoons

Sunlight slipping through your hair

Skipping ropes, two wheelers

Swimming holes we used to share

Falling leaves, bare naked trees

Halloween and ghosts abound

Trick or treat or smell my feet

Autumn sneaks without a sound

Snow storms and snow days

Tobogganing, skates on ice

Santa clause and frosty

Wrap the year-end up real nice

You just took us through the year and back again. Timeless writing and beautiful visions come into my head. Makes me want to sing, "Oh, the weather outside is delightful.........." Merry Christmas, Felix. We're so glad you're here. Send us more flowers into our dark, gray winter to cheer us up.

This is my cup of Earl Grey - past, present and future! Guess some of us will never grow up... or grow old... or somethin!! A total delight and a feast for the mind and senses whatever the season, dear Pops... and you is someone I'd like to sample all of these precious moments with, laughing and joking all the way... if such a thing were possible... just never say never! :))... (Be warned!! Have Air Miles, will travel... if Turner will chaperone me across the Big Pond...) LOL Kid Kate xx

Felix,

A wonderful trip down Season Lane! Invokes many childhood memories - most welcome to recall!

You've got a simple, yet succinct style - I really admire that!

I've been away from the Den for a while, but it looks like I've got a lot of great writing to get caught up on!

Peace,

~Rose~

Santa Clause the bringer of gifts to place around our Christmas tree and give honor to the birth Of Christ. Happy holidays will never replace Merry Christmas and I will not buy in these stores that have adopted to keep Christ out of Christmas.
