How could I not agree with the comments below? When we write it's so personal and we don't need people trying to restrain us just as maybe we are saying what is so heartfelt. Excellent, Felix :) It's so hard for me to comment on poetry due to this very fact...or something similar of. We never know what inspired a poem, what the author felt in their soul...what they were feeling. Sometimes, we're so quick to jump in there and make our assumptions and our judgments in all aspects of life. I am with you, view our form, our words and count our syllables; but, don't judge our souls.

I fully agree that no one has the right to judge others, but in this world it is going to happen. If everyone would just look at what they are doing themselves they might not be so ready to judge others. You are right that only our maker has the right to judge us. Very well written. Karen

Indeed, dear Pops, and you lead by example of what it means to be loving, honest and full of integrity... to say nothing of the epitome of graciousness and respect. All of us would hope that we have open minds that listen and debate and enjoy the spiritual and intellectual interchange, perhaps; but for those of us who hold very tightly to issues of faith and doctrine, it is soooo very easy to overstep the mark and start to sound like a preacher. May we always be aware that our sights are too skewed by vast amounts of timber in our own lives, minds and thoughts to be able to pass comment on the careful woodland management in the lives of others. Enjoy your walk in the beautiful tropical rainforests that are all your own, Felix, and may they draw you equally towards whatever objective Truth exists for us ALL to find. That is correct judge not that ye be judged. On this site we all must take criticism to make our work sound better. I always give that and from time to time i tell people to write with expression and not impressions on how you went to college. This was an excellent form of written expression.

This one is so well needed we should not judge others by their beliefs. Remembering their is freedoms of choice and rights the infringements should never cross the line each of us are artistic creative writers with thoughts to share and wisdom. I really liked this post. keep penning.
