Just a special note of interest...yesterday when my daughter Wanda and I along with Jaime Lee were off to the flea market, Wanda said somthing that made my heart smile. She said and I quote as near as these old ears can be trusted: "Dad I looked at you looking into her (JLee) eyes as she said I love you poppy and I saw you as a grandfather for the first time and knew what a grandfather should be."

Makes me wish that I was invited to share in this joy! Happy Birthday to your little one and as she grows, I imagine more and more memories will be remembered from your own children. Doesn't the cycle go too fast? But in your poem, you put it all here so nicely and so descriptively. Thanks for the gift! Love from Meredith

Wonderful portrayal of how important sharing our love with our offspring, be it our children, our grand kids, or great grand kids. Many can relate to this write and pic.

Felix,
She is absolutely gorgeous! She'll be a heartbreaker for sure! Might as well go ahead and start building that retainer wall now to keep out the boys...cuz there's gonna be lots of'em.
Oh what a cutie!
