Capture the life and dreams always...

Poem Artwork

Upon this dearth of circumstance

Push forwards without second glance

To left or right the Jackals prance

Straight and narrow life’s sweet dance

Sign of Cross or heathen’s ring

Luck of draw what fates may bring

Romance heeds the heart’s delight

Draw my soul back home tonight

Ideology lost in simple flight

Wisdom gained a grave insight…

The Furies have much to answer for sometimes, in how we learn about life...indeed 'luck of draw'...this left me in a reflective mood Fee. Love Panda :)

Oh so true Felix!! (i believe, ultimately, we create our fate...and give no power to the luck of the draw xox)

Welcome back oh master of mystery and sailor of suspense. I've been missing your passion around the old homestead and I needed a firm shoulder to cry on but....hey!!! You're back and I could feel your approach before you uttered a sound. Great to read your searching pens of wisdom.
Welcome home my friend.
Love,
Susan

Yey!! Good to see you back, Pops and awash with the success of all your booksignings... you'll be kissing babies and opening fetes next...but hey... guess you already do all of that! :)) You seem to have that Devil-may-care attitude here and I am wobbling along the same track myself, in some ways... to be old and wise you first have to have been young and foolish, no?? Trouble is, I can see that, true to form, I, at best, only have half a chance of being a mad, bad mixture of the two! NO guesses for which bits! To adhere straight and narrow is not to have lived at all and I think the trick is to choose wise paths within the livin it large, rather than to live a false abstemiousness to start with. I like the way you always indulge us with a few poetic curved balls along the way... keeps life interestin! LOL Kate xx
