My last write seems to have been taken literally and I am sorry...Moods
Moods
I write the moods I feel and I feel the moods I write, sometimes happy thoughts abound, sometimes darkness must be found, no automaton writer who writes inside a box, I am the storyteller who often wears two coloured socks, anger disperses more evenly when let outside the heart, and yearning isn’t yearning if people never have to part, laughter like a tickling rain on a summer’s eve, can be expressed onto my page but likewise so can my impending rage, and blues are blues in music when the sax man plays a riff, but blues are blues in poetry too, there really is no diff, so I write the moods I feel and I feel the moods I write that’s just the way I am as I dream my dreams at night.
And...Fee- I love your moods lately, and how you expressed it here! So exquisite and REAL! Like your are real to the core, and sensitive to boot~ I loved the peppy feel I felt here too! WArm -Tender-HuGs! Love, *Sheoxo -Always write what you're feeling-
Yes, what we see, hear, feel, touch, smell, sense, all affects our moods, but then our moods affect all of the above!!

In a recent interview for our local paper, I was asked what inspires me and if my poetry is all personal. My answer was.. it's all personal but not necessarily to me and what inspires me could be as simple as a scent of rain or as complex as the death of loved one... Sorry to go off on my own tangent here. I guess what I'm trying to say is we feel the words we write...

I think there are two categories of writers: those that write only of their experience and those that invent a situation and elaborate on it. Personally I am of the latter kind and rarely write about myself. Maybe you are like me. It is not that we don't have feelings for we apply those feelings to what we write. But what we write does not necessarily reflect our situation. I have written sad poems on love, but I've been happily married for the past 36 years. Would love to hear your views. Victor
