The Oneness of Desire

Millions of grains of warm sand press the naked skin

as I look up into the translucent eyes of love itself

Your hair stirred by the ocean’s desire brushes my face

sending tiny tremors of raw pleasure to my very core

Crashing, pounding waves, Neptune’s own symphony

play the melody of the night as a background to our love

The midnight stars shine like a million spotlights

on your naked ethereal beauty above me

We devour each other with lips wanting,

seeking, delving into the sensual chasm of need

A magic, captured image to last eternity as

sights, sounds and sensations sear into soul

I hungrily taste the beads of briny sweat

erotically they drip from your brow onto me one by one

When the moment of oneness overtakes us

we explode to join the other stars in the universe

Thus sated, we drift together slowly down,

lingering on clouds of warmth till we reach

the folds of earth once more
