Crimson Red

By: Felix L Perry

Crimson drops strike snow virgin white

Madness screams in pure, stark delight

Lost soul naked beneath new moon’s light

Shadows move aside like chastened child

They fear the beast amok and running wild

Her sweet kiss was to crimson lips defiled

In the bedroom air ozone brimstone fed

Close now cloven hoof and nubs on head

Burns fierce his eyes of crimson red

But wait…in silence comes the chosen one

His wings pure white against crimson sun

His winged flight puts evil minions on the run

One lost soul claimed for hell is saved instead

All this and not one single word was said

When smile of love meets crimson stare of red!
