As suggested and when rereading Boulevard of Dreams I decided that this will probably at the least a trilogy of life's passage...

The Avenue Of Regret

By: Felix L. Perry

turn my black steed into the sunset

leave my sins the boulevard  behind

what manner of magic vile or fair

is afoot beneath the brazen sun

my steed has turned a dusty gray

as we escape the bitter that begun

the gate was left so slight ajar

the ghostly guardians slightly blind

a papoose made of should have done

tied with the string of knotted sin

bared naked to the questioner’s lament

in the distance a drummer playing solemn taps

on the Avenue of Regret!

An avenue every sinner should spend a walk or two on, or even a ride upon his steed...This is the road less traveled, hence the dust...
but at the end of it, I guarantee there will be no Dead End signs!
Excellent Fee~

One should turn one's back on the Avenue of Regret. By all means ride into the sunset but put your heart at rest. Victor
