I find it so sad that so many boys aren't taught that men have emotions and it's no shame to show them. A powerful write Fee.

I guess I'm truly a wimp. I've cried many times in my life, and I expect I'll cry many more times before I'm gone.

Forget that pillow, look for the shoulder of a friend, tears shouldn't be sheed in solitude.

It's actually healthy to cry. I think everyone gets overwhelmed by their emotions sometimes, especially in times of sorrow. I can't imagine why men should be excluded! Artists have a tendency to be more sensitive than others, too, so let those tears fall...they may inspire you, Fee! Excellent expression here. Love and Hugs:)

There is NOTHING wrong with a man showing his emotions. In fact, I am leary about someone that is not able to or thinks that they are not supposed to show emotion. Well done.

That's what's wrong with men today: all their lives, they've been told to suck it up, walk that one off, be a man. If a man shows emotion, he's gay. NOT IN MY BOOK. Takes a real man to cry. As Karen (below) said, I love a man who cries. And I love you, (((Fee))). Well done.

A man should strive to be the best he can;
else he isn't quite a "real" man.
But tears are God's invention, so my friend,
don't be ashamed of what will help you mend.

Now, understand that the above is a spur-of-the-moment rhyme, but it's true, I believe, that tears are a gift of God. Even Jesus wept at the heartache of His friends, and again, He wept over Jerusalem in its blindness. Tears are cleansing, healing, and expressive of your deepest feelings.
Two things that speak volumes to me about a man are his desire to know God, and his tender heart that sometimes brings him to tears.
