Great write reminding us to follow our hearts, live within our niche, and never give up!
When you are dead...that's when you're too old to shoot for a dream. Though, I know the feeling you write about and it can oftentimes be overwhelming. For me, writing is the dream. I don't think my writing would have been much to share had I pursued it twenty years ago. Life experience only enriches one's work. Your works are dynamic, creative, and skillfully written...works to be proud of. To me, that is success. Grab the closest mirror, give the tongue a cluck, point at your reflection, and say, "You the man!" Love and Hugs~

When your feeling cold, old and all but rolled into a nice little fold, stretch out for that sexy centerfold looking at the camera with mischevious eyes bold, and never put a for sale sign on your threshold saying sold, for your words ring out like waves of gold beautifully caught as blessings to behold!

Brilliantly written and a lot of truth within the title. Often people look for that "peak" in life while missing out on the adventure that surrounds us."The goal is the journey" as someone said.Your verse cleverly forms the shape of a peak too, adding to the perceived irony, but I agree with Kathy - the hand is too strong to fold in the true sense!
