It seems like the human condition is that the heart is meant to be broken...sad as this is...and we learn (or should) as we progress...
The sadness is kind of reassuring in a 'we're all in this together' kind of way..

Perfect tone for a country song. How true, too! I was just reading an old diary of mine. Had to sigh over how many times I thought I'd had a broken heart. Course, I really didn't know love from a crush back then! This song reminds me of those heartbroken entries of mine. Nicely penned, Fee.

You are right. If it was not for broken hearts, Nashville would still be a hick-town, and Kleenex would be a little mom-n-pop company. You have really captured the mood of this one, Fee.

Well Fee I am a Country gal as you know and I don't think hearts are meant to be broken, they are broken because we jump to fast at false love, you see it always works out when we have the right partner. I think this is a great write from a great country guy. Thank you for sharing.
