I am inspired by many things and as diverse as a babies smile or the wrath of Cain...but this particular piece was inspired by the works of AD's Michelle Mead who always seems to capture the magic of the great artists of history. The painting of course...Vincent van Gogh, hope you like it Michelle

The Wardrobe

By: Fee

The vistas may change but never the frame

Day to day visions remain not the same

Skies may redress in a rich wardrobe of hues

That make headline pages of such daring views

Moving from star sparkled black velvet

To white sailed clouds on satin blue

Like canvass sails on the vast ocean

Display a bon a fide masterpiece true

Depressed grays to match feelings

Angry storm clouds thunderous flair

Lighting flames flow daring dramatic

The God’s wrath they openly share

The kissed soft whispers of white silk

As the snow drapes down from above

To clothe the blues in a warm nightgown

For the sky and earth to make love

Artists, poets and dreamers as well

Through history struggle to fulfill

The artistic goal to capture its essence

Some came close but none ever will

The truth is no one can capture

What the God’s freely give

The beauty of the skies above

Beneath which we graciously live…

Fabulous concepts and inspired form. You have responded well to the challenge you set yourself and prove yourself an equal master of this genre! Your passionate heart speaks volumes in colour and detail, and with true joie de vivre and insight. Your words burst from the page and leave us satisfied with well-being at the end... like a beautiful firework display! Bless you, Pops xx

This is perfect, Felix, really perfect. Alot of people see art and try to interpret what they see instead of what they feel and the story and worlds that are created by the strokes of another's brush that are a real gift to writers as we can interpret them in our own mind's eye. This is one to submit somewhere (note to myself, lol)because it is perfectly written in form and meaning. Blessings, Michelle

Fee, you should stop writing masterpieces or tour cus Rose will be blushing with proud all the way to Vancuver.
A conversational type of poem, like a painter talking to himself about the things he will put on the canvas afterwards.
