just some thoughts

Poem Artwork

What Would He Say?

in steepled roofs of sacred thoughts

acrid incensed haze of spirits rise

glazed eyes of idols blankly stare

into opened soul’s adulterated lies

with the stipend of the lender’s coin

moralized conscience sins grow soft

on the regal alters of the well to do

‘neath echoed praise from choir’s loft

towers reaching towards the heavens

the bells for the faithful clearly ring

while stained glass subdues the reality

with bended head raised voices sing

beggars beg for food in the heat of day

homeless freeze in rigor mortis pray

warmth remains inside God’s earth domain

And I wonder what his son would say

God has a plan, when he sent his son
They both knew what needed to be done, and he still does!
Love this deep thinking pondering poem Sweet Fee!
I will add this to my reading library, I love the love in it!

I think he would say: Where did the LOVE go? Your reflections are so naked and real, as a birth of a newborn!

He might mention that He has little to be proud of these days. What little there is comes from our hearts. Great poem, Fee. Love and Hugs,

Homeless freezes in rigor mortis pray...and the poet has just said it all with an impeccable flourish. Theres nothing else he could say.

Wonderful Poem Fee
He would still Love us all just the same
for we all are imperfect in many ways & all of us are sinners here on earth: our school to learn what it is he has lain out for us to encounter
Much Love & Inspirations

I think he would say that in all these eons, we humans don't seem to have learned, or listened, very well.
