I would just like to thank all of you who sent messages, cards, letters and comments in the recent death of Marge my sister in law who passed away on Good Friday. It meant a lot to know I had such caring poeple who cared so much for me here on the den...thank you all.

Back to the Living…

By: Fee

I have walked through shadows

and stumbled blindly in the dark

Wiped my teardrops on a shoulder

That may have left a stain or mark

Held a child’s laughter in a pill box

To help me get through another day

On a dais spoke words of comfort

Then even bowed my head to pray

I sang aloud The Old Rugged Cross

Amazing Grace just out of key

Played the host and spoke to the ghost

Of the woman who meant a lot to me

Now though it is time to live again

Life is such a fleeting flash of rhyme

Greive for the dead, live for the living

For we all must say goodbye in time

an emotional expression and the sharing of many philosophical views Felix -- it is the fond memories that make the journey without them, possible -- and with them, they carried, a piece of us, our hearts --peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

so much squeezed into and out of these beautiful tears of words, Felix. Through your heartfelt expressions, we learn what love is, what grief is... and of what it means to live life (and death) to the full. Whether in sadness or joy, your poetic cup is always full and overflows to bless us. Go placidly, darlin. xx

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Once again with this piece you have managed to bring me into your experiance and share it. The piece is a moment captured in time. Your sister in law must have been quite an inspiration. You're ability to share that emotion with a near stranger is what makes your work so compelling. Trust it has been appreciated.

Now is time not to grieve but to remember all the times when she make you happy, smile of provoked laughter, the times when she gave comfort, remembering all the good memories will be the best eulogy that anyone loved can receive, because in spirit you will never be apart.

Fee,

Gorgeous eulogy to your sister in law, and to life - well done.

(((HUGS))) love and prayer, Karla.

Trust me when I say this: you don't want to hear me sing The Old Rugged Cross or anything - DEFINATELY off key. WAAAAAY off key. LOL
