There is always something sad about the coming of night when you are alone...

Almost Tomorrow Tonight

By: Felix L. Perry

Night wrapping the day in a blanket of black

Tomorrow is coming with no looking back

Lights twinkle in the valley, reflecting the sky

A breeze in the willow like a soft gentle sigh

I’m here word-clicking letters to pass idle time

One word speaks to another creating each line

No messenger blip bleep, no “Hey you got mail”

Me and my keyboard in search of the lost grail

Eyes growing weary, yawns slip ‘neath a star

Good night kindred spirit…wherever you are…

seperaration is a physical phenomena not to be overcome -- yet kindred souls are never apart in the whole of the universe for memories and imagination are inseparable mates -- peace and love Felix, my friend -- Jon Michael

Nicely done, Fee. The loneliness of the night is palpable in this.

Beautiful write of yearning, Fee; you are NEVER alone. God is with you; you might not believe in Him, but He IS there, by your side. And He will NEVER leave you. EVER. :)

(((HUGS))) and much love, and prayers~

As always, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Kindred spirits are wondrous beings to have around when you need them. And it's probably why I keep dogs and cats around me.

Kindred spirits always know that God watches over them while they are apart one from another, as the mizpah coin says and that if there were any way they could be together, they would. I can feel these words, because I do, and often.
