The Birthday Rose

 

The years have come and gone

And that little girl from Newfoundland

Has travelled cross the country

And always gave a welcome hand

 

Now finally she has came to roost

Close to her old cousin Fee

In her adopted home of Nova Scotia

Oh goodness gracious me

 

Now today I send a special wish

To my cousin and my friend

Happiest of birthdays dear Cuz

I hope they never end….

So, our Rose kept very quiet about birthdays, oh well, maidens are a little shy to go graffiti their age on the walls. I suppose that 21 candles would be enough to cover it?
