Saturday night on the local country station is oldies night and I listen to them on a replica of an old bakelight radio the kind my parents had...low tech is made for country music
This takes me back to when we were children and only owned one radio. My dad sat it on a chair in the hallway so we could all enjoy the oldies. Thanks Cuz for the memories, another great one.

The radio sounds cool...my dad gave me a kind of short wave set with all kinds of old tubes, probably couldn't fix it anymore, no more tubes, but to sit and listen and hear the world from my kids bedroom in Sea Isle City, NJ, was really cool to all us kids who hung out at my place...glad to hear you are thinking of someone & I am sure someone is thinking of you...:-)ed
