Good news! 

Now you can brush and floss 

at the same time,

as the paper thin ozone layer,

ever thinner,

melts the ice caps.

A president with a bull horn

led the attack

on the capital 

he has sworn to protect.

He'll be back.

Half the country

wants him back.

He hates blacks, women,

all minorities,

he wants to sleep

with his daughter.

It seems to be okay

with half.

Meanwhile, 

deflated yard Santas

wave flacid arms

to the sky.

It is a season of guns,

Co-vid mutations, 

masks and despair. 

Of unarmed joggers

shot in the back

by seventeen year old

vigelantees

carrying automatic weapons.

Of killers who are

pronounced innocent.

The baby Jesus 

is knocked upside down

in his bed of straw

by some errant ass.
