My nephew Johnny

 

Evening laughter,

a babbling brook

rolling like clear water

throughout the house.

 

Your agile body

bending like a bow

as you dance.

Your paintings

pop from the canvas

exuberantly.

 

There is so much to love,

but most of all,

how truly true

you are to you.

 

If only others

could be

as honest as you,

a joyful world

could renew.

 

Big hugs,

big smiles,

I love you, Johnny,

thank you.
