It was about money then and it's about money now. But at least the rich business men and land owners who were our founding fathers were well educated in the arts, sciences and forms of government to come up with the wonderful check and balance government we have. Those checks and balances should never be breached.
During this administration they've been breached many times. The most grievous of which is the loading of the Supreme Court with far right wing oligarchs reversing long-held reforms that need to stay in place.
We have to speak up. We have to vote. We have to throw the money mongers out of the temple.
