*What a fate is it* *That parted sun and moon* *O woman of beautiful eyes* *What a fate has determined* *The graceful gazelle* *To be a lion's prey* *And the beloved to be* *The death-bringing arrow* *Stuck in the lover's heart* *What a fate* *Tell me,* *O plaited black hair:* *Could you bear to see* *Of all mortal beauty* *Extinguished the two moons* *That rose underneath* *The arch of* *Hussain's brows?* *Tell me, o lips of ruby:* *Should love bring* *Nothing* *But anguish and pain?* *Was it the same fate* *That gave Uhud and Badr* *And could yet* *Bear to see* *Karbala?* *O cruel hijab that prevents me from seeing* *My loves one's beauty spot* *And denies us to share* *This night's dazzling fire* *Why do you rouse desire* *And modesty* *At the same time?* *What a fate ya Humaira* *Could allow death to part you* *At the peak of perfection* *With your heart's treasure casket?* *Fate* *Fate* *Why hast thou made* *The dervish and his trance* *Two different things?* *Why didst thou separate* *In this world of obsessions* *A husband and his wife* *A father and his child* *And a people* *From the motherland's earth?* *In this world* *Where lover and beloved* *Were allowed to appear* *As two different beings* *And different, again* *From love?* *How could Ali,* *The radiant markaba of my forehead* *And 'Aysha, my eye's piercing star* *In the battle over my heart* *Face one another as opponents* *Ever?* *Could then, o fate* *My soul and heart* *Be one another's foe?*

Beautiful write, Muhammad. I know a hijab is, but could you please educate us as to who Uhud and Badr are; Humaira; markaba; falak?
